Culottes

Culotte pants is the kind of fashion that make many people stop and wonder, should I or not? Yes it's the type that needs to grow on us. It starts by giving it a little time, seeing it here and there, getting used to it and maybe then we'll give it a try. You see fashionistas and trendsetters are interesting species being that their fashion adaptation time is practically nonexistent. They magically and hormonally awake with the trend itself, resulting in looks that are as new as effortless. Enjoy!

Friday eye candy: Givenchy

Ricardo Tisci on accepting the offer to be Givenchy's fashion director. It's interesting how some posts develop. I started with a different idea for today's post until I realized that most of the images I selected had something Givenchy in them. From Clutches to stunning patterned clothes to bags and accessories, everything Ricardo Tisci creation is simply amazing. No one makes the wild and gothic side look this sophisticated better than him. Enjoy!

Fall Fashion: Leather Shorts

I'm my mother's daughter, by that I mean that I'm always cold. I would be much happier in a climate always over 90's and limited air-condition use. That's why I'm so happy to see the combination of leather, sweaters, trench coats and tights for fall street-fashion. Fashion is way more interesting when it's also non-torturing. Enjoy!

You are so boxy!

I’m happy when wearing a minimalist and streamlined outfit, the bigger the better. It may have to do with the fact that I´ve never been exactly fit, slim yes. But, besides my arms no other part of my body has ever been toned or maybe this because of how cool and relaxed it feels and looks. These boxy tops are right up my alley! They would go great with either cropped pants or a pencil skirt. Enjoy!

Style inspiration: Clutch it during the day

And this is what I meant when I said yesterday that clutches are very much used during the day now. Not sure if having one of your arms always occupied is a comfortable thing to do, but stylish it is! And only for a short while that's all we need, so get along with the program. Enjoy!
