Friday eye candy: A sneak peek of my coming soon jewelry line

My jewelry line is far from being ready but, every day I get closer and closer.  I have no idea of the name I'll give it but, the concept is pretty clear to me.  Anyone who knows me well would probably guess that I would inspire on Architecture because duh... it's what I most love.   Above all I'm looking for originality.  I hate when people copy other’s work because I know how hard it is to make those dreams into reality so I respect that.
I've never been more certain of what I want in my life.  I only hope I've done a good job cleaning my Karma, haha!, so the Universe smiles at me and gives me thumbs up.  Have a great weekend!

The dress that has it all from Calvin Klein Fall 2013 collection

I've always admired Calvin Klein's creative director's minimalist side.  Francisco Costa's designs seem feminine and classic without too much fru fru which means Elegance and I love that.  That's why when I saw this two-piece dress in a magazine the other day I went crazy.
I adore the buckles on the back of the dress.  I think it makes it look more chic and modern.  Zoe Saldana chose to wear it with the cropped top making the whole look more dynamic like that.  She has the abs.  I also prefer her choice of pulling up her hair so the buckles show.  You go girl!
Look at those shoes!

Friday eye candy: Fashion now

The best thing that's happened to fashion is the fact that has never been more about personal style and expression.  Long gone are the days when style would label and stereotype people and designate them to specific social circles.  I think fashion has done what reasoning never did, establish the fact that fashion has played an active role in history and as such a consequence of history's many arbitrary actions and inequities.  Long gone are the days when Vogue magazine was only acquired and used by a privileged society leaving the people on the other end with no reference what so ever.  Boy times have changed, haven't they?  Now-a-days it's hard to distinguish and thank God, much less stereotype who is the one wearing the prints or the solids, the turban or the hot, the discrete or the revealing clothes, the ballerinas or the heels?  And I think it was clearly about time.  Have an excellent free-of-judgment weekend!

Luxury fashion houses offer small versions of their iconic bags to those women who prefer comfortable and smaller bags during leisure days.  I for instance covet small bags that I can use as cross body ones on the weekends.  Don't be fooled and think that because these luxury mini bags are smaller will cost less.  It's all about the brand!  They either cost the same or in many cases even more due to intrinsic details.  If you have extra bucks lying around here are very small options on how to spend it, I mean how to invest it.  Enjoy!
