The Pink Coat

A pink coat is obviously not the most practical idea of all and certainly its presence in your closet doesn't mean you should relegate its far more forgiving dark counterpart. You know just in case of accidental spilling. Fall Fashion: Leather Shorts

I'm my mother's daughter, by that I mean that I'm always cold. I would be much happier in a climate always over 90's and limited air-condition use. That's why I'm so happy to see the combination of leather, sweaters, trench coats and tights for fall street-fashion. Fashion is way more interesting when it's also non-torturing. Enjoy!

A modern girl outfit you need this Fall

There are many reasons why we all need an outfit like this one this Fall. First it's just chic, second it's modern so no one will confuse you with her son's teacher, third it's stylish and lady-like at the same time. How often can you put those two last words in the same sentence? yeah, that's what I thought! From my part I'm looking forward to try orange nails soon, a no filter sweater so people can see my inner beauty, an unstructured patchwork leather skirt is modern and also sophisticated at the same time and I'm just not saying this because it sounds good but because it looks just right. A modern ring and a clean but statement necklace because they are both good ideas and necessary. A more affordable version of Celine metal plate shoes because frankly it's just not possible to afford Celine right now, at least not on in-season pieces. Philip Lim small Ryder satchel is too beautiful to ignore and last but not least a fake fur jacket by Michael Kors because animals deserve good treatment too! Enjoy!

Sweaters: How to make them look interesting

Since Fall is in full bloom here in Sao Paulo I tend to wear a lot of sweaters-sweaters with skirt, with pants, with jeans and so on. But a sweater can be a bit blah if considering its regular shape. I think it’s always a good idea to look around for inspiration on how to make any piece of typical garment look more interesting; in this case a sweater. I like the idea of layering it on top of a shirt, sort of like in a peek-a-boo way. Another great way to wear a jacket or blazer on the shoulders and above all and by far my favorite is to wear a big statement necklace on top. Enjoy!

Friday eye candy: Slouchy leather pants

Here in Sao Paulo the Fall season is starting to approach slowly whereas up-north, Spring is approaching. The mornings are becoming a bit chilly and the sun is retiring a bit earlier. I kept yearning for full bright sunny days but I was told this summer was a bit different from the previous ones so I hope next year will be hotter and sunnier. One great thing about Sao Paulo weather is that we actually get to feel all different seasons without the extreme. These coming days for instance I'm looking forward to wearing fall season clothes and be able to wear all the cool outfits that we can wear during Autumn. Especially a cool pair of slouchy leather pants. Enjoy!
