Winter Interiors Inpiration

The days here in Sao Paulo are getting warmer, which I love giving the fact that my favorite season is Summer.  But, that doesn't save me from missing the beautiful interiors of winter, the laziness of long dark days and the coziness that they conjure.  Enjoy! and keep warm if it's cold where you are.

A Modern Classic Home

This amazing home in Malaga, Spain was designed by Pablo Paniagua and his Studio team that was in charge of almost everything from the architecture to the design and construction of furniture.  All done with the very important goal of reaching a harmonious result.  I love how the dark colors stand out on the white background.  Enjoy!

One of my favorite homes # 2: J. Randall Powers

 This is the shot that was used in the cover of Elle Decor

Now that we're moving into a new home, I've been revising my favorite homes and this one designed by J. Randall Powers is one of those.  One of my favorite things about this home is how none of the furniture actually relate to each other but the combination of all of them is pure genius, fresh and elegant.  How is it that Elle Decor described it? "Cool and Elegant" no wonder!

Klismos is my all time favorite chair and this interpretation of it is calling me.

Convex Mirror: Federalist Convex Mirror

Probably the mirror used by the witch in Snow White was a convex mirror since it's a mirror with a power of optical illusion in it.  It disturbs the images that reflect making it feel like its inside the mirror, hence making everything in front appear bigger.  I would love one as big as possible for our new house in Sao Paulo, particularly a Federalist or Eagle one.
