Friday eye candy: Let me give you a hand with that
I'm not sure what was in the mind of Mr. Pedro Friedeberg when he came up with the idea of the Hand Chair to hold...derrieres. Pedro Friedeberg’s style was obviously inspired on surrealism and it's a very loved hand by many stylish people. I better come up with an idea of a handy necklace. Enjoy!
Pedro Friedeberg obviously has a thing for hands. A beautiful thing that is.
Friday eye candy: A sneak peek of my coming soon jewelry line
My jewelry line is far from being ready but, every day I get closer and closer. I have no idea of the name I'll give it but, the concept is pretty clear to me. Anyone who knows me well would probably guess that I would inspire on Architecture because duh... it's what I most love. Above all I'm looking for originality. I hate when people copy other’s work because I know how hard it is to make those dreams into reality so I respect that.
I've never been more certain of what I want in my life. I only hope I've done a good job cleaning my Karma, haha!, so the Universe smiles at me and gives me thumbs up. Have a great weekend!

Friday eye candy: My prints and only them
I'd like to share with you my print line. I love architecture, geometry and abstract forms so I wanted to create a line that would evoke that. Lines, geometry, shapes and a little bit of pop art are found in these prints which are now available through Etsy.
I Heart New York or My heart is in New York. I love many cities but, there is no other City in the world with the dynamic and vibrant vibe of New York City. Everything from its incompatible diversion, freedom and opportunities is unmatchable. My son always keeps telling me "mami I was born in New York, right mami?," "yes, sweetie you were. You are a new yorker" This print was created as a homage to him. The colors in the small heart are never repeated and the whole print can be customizable.
Origami is a floating abstract shape that seems to be lit from inside. I love its understated and minimalist atmosphere.

Complex Geometry is the print to enhance any decor, from modern to traditional.
I hope you like them. Thank you!

Friday eye candy: Fashion now
The best thing that's happened to fashion is the fact that has never been more about personal style and expression. Long gone are the days when style would label and stereotype people and designate them to specific social circles. I think fashion has done what reasoning never did, establish the fact that fashion has played an active role in history and as such a consequence of history's many arbitrary actions and inequities. Long gone are the days when Vogue magazine was only acquired and used by a privileged society leaving the people on the other end with no reference what so ever. Boy times have changed, haven't they? Now-a-days it's hard to distinguish and thank God, much less stereotype who is the one wearing the prints or the solids, the turban or the hot, the discrete or the revealing clothes, the ballerinas or the heels? And I think it was clearly about time. Have an excellent free-of-judgment weekend!
Friday eye candy: Bringing sexy back (yard)
Where did the week go? I feel as if Monday night had percolated directly into Friday morning. Is it only on this side of the world that time is flying by or is it happening where you beautiful readers are as well? I don't mind when it happens during the week or during cold weather as in now, it only bothers me during the weekends and summers. I know that in my favorite City a.k.a New York City, summer is coming to an end, while here in Sao Paulo is around the corner so here is a bit of inspiration for those who are soon starting to cover their backs and backyards and for those who are dusting it off instead. Enjoy!
