Happy Wednesday! Just a few things that caught my attention this week before I announce the winner of the giveaway.
1) My blogger friend Cecilia and I have a little fun each year guessing what the Pantone Colour of the Year will be. Read her post here. I’m guessing it’s going to be Dazzling Blue or Freesia in 2014 based on their Fashion Colour Report. Do you have a guess at what it will be? (Remember last year it was Emerald Green and before that Tangerine Tango, Honeysuckle, Turquoise and Mimosa.)
2) Speaking of fashion, while catching up on Cecilia’s blog, I read this fun post on New York Fashion Week.
3) I’m hoping that our Canadian Target stores will have some of these items from the Nate Berkus Fall 2013 collection.
4) And Ikea is introducing some new products for October. I’m in love with this lighting series in white which includes a pendant, table and floor lamp.
5) I, and a few other bloggers, were asked to provide a quote for what we would do if we had $1000 to use to “brighten” our homes. So, I mentioned the first thing that popped into my mind as I have been putting this off for years. You can read the post here and while there you can enter their contest to win $1000.
6) Lauren posted these Before & After pics of a client’s living room. That girl can do no wrong I tell you! Love everything she does and she has impeccable taste. Elegant, calm, restrained, not too “decorated” – and the room isn’t even complete yet and the photos were taken with her phone.
